A lot of meaning is crammed into this acrylic painting.  The woman is obviously unprepared for her leap into the pool but the impulse has taken her - just as it did when she was young and skinny-dipping. She doesn't care. In her mind she is still young and she still has that glint in her eye. She is still making a splash in the world
