Jenny Baillie
Born and raised in New Zealand Jenny has lived in the West Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, for several decades. She has been painting for about 20 years and sells her work internationally.
This past summer she has been visiting family in Tauranga and connecting with her NZ roots. “I am absorbing the landscape and culture with renewed interest and a fresh perspective. My Mini Painting Series is the initial response.”
Her work is characterized by a bold use of colour, strong line and simple design, producing images that are stylized and abstracted.
