One of Brenda's favourite walks. Sun, sea and dappled light that just needs to be painted. It is stunning scenery and always a joy. It invokes the feel of summertime with the promise of an ice cream or coffee at the local haunts as a fitting finale. Walking anticlockwise again, showing the wizened gnarly pohutakawa tree, leaning gracefully over the blue ocean, it's filigree branches intermingling with Matakana Island in the background. The steep bank on the left is decorated with interesting lacy shadow shapes and grasses.
