Megan is a self-taught artist and has been painting and exhibiting in New Zealand for the past 16 years. She sells her works through private sales, commissions, NZ galleries and art events. Her preferred mediums are oils and acrylics on board and usually finishes the works with resin.
Recent developments have brought evolution and life to her paintings. Her works combine ideas of heritage, local identity, biodiversity and sustainability.
“In a world of mass production, urban deserts and mono-culture, the wild landscape and the vital life they sustain, now stand unique; one of the greatest pleasures of them all. Through my painting I hope to encourage you to rediscover, nurture and enjoy your own wild environments whilst taking a breath and relaxing.”
