Janice Giles has made art for most of her life. Primarily self-taught, she enjoys
experimenting with techniques and mediums – trying to find original expressions
of what it means to be human, and impressions of the world around us. Janice
currently works mainly with acrylics.
In recent years Janice has participated in numerous group exhibitions and
produced two successful solo shows. She has sold internationally, been a finalist
in the Molly Morpeth Canaday Awards, the Rotorua Museum Art Awards, The Miles Award and received the Tauranga Society of Artists Supreme Annual Art Award.
Her works are always well thought through and well executed.
